What I’m being taught
Someone else’s syllabus, which is the point. A course sets problems I would not have set myself, and the output below is what came out of them.
The School of AI · 2026 — in progress
EAG V3 — Extensive AI for Agents
Twenty sessions on production agentic systems, taken alongside full-time work. The syllabus ladders up a protocol stack: agent loop, then tools, then agent-to-agent, then agent-to-user.
Submissions repoShipped
- Atlas An agent that may only answer in registered interfaces. Every turn runs model → declarative surface → injection wall → render, so it never writes markup and never emits an action the server did not register.
- Ratchet An evaluation harness where a coding agent cannot mark its own homework. The test that grades it is hashed before and after; a differing digest voids the run whatever the exit code said.
- mini-perplexity Started as a single research loop over three tools, then grew into a multi-tool agent with native tool use, an MCP server and a dashboard. The commit history is the lesson.
Still studying
- Dense retrieval with FAISS, and why cosine similarity is the whole of it at this scale
- Chunking strategy and its failure modes
- Hybrid retrieval: dense plus BM25, fused by rank
- LLM-as-judge scoring, and checking the judge before trusting it
Listed as study, not as skill. These are on the syllabus ahead of me.

Experiments
Kept because the attempt is the point, not the size of it.
- trishula A browser extension that scores job postings with streaming LLM evaluation.
Next, not now
- A rubric judge scoring agent output, gating merges on the score
- Hybrid retrieval: dense plus BM25, fused by rank
- OpenTelemetry GenAI tracing across an agent run
- An MCP server written in Go
Intentions, not claims. I haven’t built these yet.
